White to pale yellow crystals.    Faint odor similar to ozone.



REACTIVITY & CONDITIONS TO AVOID

Stable. No spontaneous self-reaction.     Incompatible with reducing agents, many organics, wood

and paper.

May cause fire or violent reaction with reducing agents, wood, paper or other combustibles.

HEALTH HAZARDS

Irritating and corrosive to skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Causes chemical burns. Contact

may lead to formation of rash or dermatitis. Possible absorption through skin. OSHA TLV/ACGIH

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Use goggles and rubber gloves while handling.        Store away from flammables and combustibles.

Keep water supply readily available.



FIRST AID

Wash skin and eyes thoroughly with water. Get medical attention for eyes. Treat skin burns

with a paste of sodium bicarbonate. If ingested, give milk or milk of magnesia to drink and

get medical attention. Do not induce vomiting.



SPILLS & LEAKS

Sweep up solids.  Wash area thoroughly with water.         Neutralize with soda, soda ash or lime.

Disposal of neutralized solution to sanitary drain.
