Hazardous Identification Information:
FLAMMABLE!
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:
EYE: Can cause eye irritatioin. Symptoms include stinging, tearing, redness and swelling of the eyes.

SKIN: May cause mild skin irritation in sensitive people. Prolonged contact may dry the skin.

INGESTION: Ingesting this material may be harmful.

INHALATION: Breathing small amounts of this material during normal handling is not likely to cause harmful effects. Breathing
large amounts may be harmful. Use with adequate ventilation.

SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Ingestion or inhalation:irregular heartbeat, cyanosis, anesthesia, stomach or intestinal upset
(nausea, vomiting, diarrhea); irritation (the nose, throat, airways); cough, central nervous system depression (dizziness,
drowsiness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, headache, unconsciousness); slowing of breathing rate, blurred vision.

TARGET ORGANS: This product contains ethanol. Alcoholic beverage consumption has been associated with brain damage,
heart damage, and pancreatitus in humans. Exposure to lethal concentrations has shown to cause damage to organs including
liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart, lungs and brain. Although this rarely occurs, survivors of severe intoxication may suffer permanent
neurological damage.

CARCINOGENICITY: This product contains ethanol. IARC has determined that exposure to ethanol through chronic human
consumption of alcoholic beverages can cause cancer. The relevance of this finding to ethanol exposure in industrial
environments is uncertain.

IV. First Aid Measures:
Route(s) of Entry:
Inhalation, ingestion, skin, eyes

Health Hazards (Acute and Chronic):
Chronic: Dermatitis

Signs and Symptoms:

Inhalation: Headache, irritation of the throat, lungs and airways.

Ingestion: Excitement, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, collapse, unconsciousness, coma, death due to respiratory
failure
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure:

Skin, lung, eye, central nervous system, kidney, liver diseases

Emergency and First Aid Procedures:

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen (To be
administered by qualified medical personnel only!) Get medical attention.

Ingestion: If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cups of milk or water. (Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person!) Induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.

Skin: Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention if
condition warrants.

Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids. Do not allow victim to
rub or keep eyes closed. Get medical aid immediately.

Notes to physician: Effects may be delayed. Ethanol may inhibit metabolism.
Other Health Warnings:

V. Fire Fighting Measures:
Flash Point: 55 F Lower Explosive Limit: 3.3 vol% Upper Explosive Limit: 28.00 vol%

F.P. Method:

Fire Extinguishing Media: Dry chemical, carbon dioxide, water spray, alcohol-resistant foam

Special Fire Fighting Procedures:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing. Water may be ineffective, but may be used to cool fire-exposed
containers.
Unusual Fire and Explosion:
Containers may build up pressure when exposed to heat or fire. Vapors from this product may travel some distance from original
point to an ignition source and flash back.

"Empty" containers may contain product residue and may be dangerous. Empty containers should be completely drained and
bunged and then disposed of according to local, state, and federal regulations.

Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled:

Wear vapor respirator, safety goggles, and rubber gloves. Remove sources of ignition (i.e. open flames, sparks). Dike if
necessary. Soak up with absorbent material (earth, sand, or vermiculite recommended; do not use flammable substances such as
sawdust). Scoop up with a non-sparking tool. Ventilate and wash spill site after collection. Dispose according to local, state, and
federal regulations.

Precautions to be Taken:

Keep in closed container. Keep cool and dry. Avoid all ignition sources (heat, open flame, spark). Avoid incompatible materials.
Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with the eyes. Avoid inhalation and ingestion. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Other Precautions:

"Empty" containers may contain product residue and may be dangerous. Empty containers should be completely drained and
bunged and then disposed of according to local, state, and federal regulations.

XVI. Other Information:
This Material Safety Data Sheet identifies ethyl alcohol as a component and gives considerable information concerning the adverse
health and safety concerns associated with ethyl alcohol. Ethyl alcohol is flammable and can cause adverse health reactions if
ingested. However, if reasonable safety precautions are followed and this product is used as intended--the marking of skin with a
solution using ethyl alcohol as a solvent will not cause adverse health effect to the general population.
