Aspiration into lungs may lead to chemical pneumonitis.
EYE Mildly irritating to the eyes.
SKIN Prolonged and repeated skin contact may cause dermatitis due to
defatting effect.
INHALED Inhalation may cause irritation to the respiratory system. Prolonged
exposure to vapours may cause somnolence and narcosis.
CHRONIC
FIRST AID:
SWALLOWED If swallowed, give a glass of water. Do not induce vomiting. Lean victim
forward to reduce the risk of aspiration. Never give drink to unconscious
person. Seek medical advice. For further advice call Poisons Information
Centre.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
EXPOSURE STANDARDS None assigned for the mixture.
Toluene TWA: 100ppm 377 mg/m3 STEL: 150ppm 565 mg/m3
ENGINEERING CONTROLS Use in well ventilated area. Take precautionary measures against static
discharges Refer to AS1940- The storage & handling of flammable and
combustible liquids and AS2430 Explosive gas atmospheres for further
information concerning ventilation requirements.
Provide sufficient ventilation to keep airborne levels below the exposure
limit. Where vapours or mists are generated, particularly in enclosed
areas, and natural ventilation is inadequate, a flameproof exhaust
ventilation system is required. Refer to AS1940- The storage and
handling of flammable and combustible liquids and AS 2430- Explosive
