                                           HI-TEMP SILICONE RTV GASKET

FUNCTION AND APPLICATION: RED HI-TEMP SILICONE RTV GASKET is a room temperature

vulcanizing sealant for bonding, waterproofing and insulating most materials. Replaces any shape or

size cork, asbestos, felt, rubber, paper or metal gasket in minutes. Bonds to metal, plastics, glass,

vinyl, rubber, leather, fabrics, wood, tile and ceramics.



OUTSTANDING PROPERTIES: Meets the low volatility specifications for General Motors engines

equipped with oxygen sensors. This low volatile, pressure resistant material makes any size or shape

gasket that will resist temperatures of 650 F.



USE DIRECTIONS: RED HI-TEMP SILICONE RTV GASKET cures in one hour,

fully cures in 24 hours. Surfaces to be sealed must be clean and thoroughly dry.

l) Remove cap and pierce tube seal with probe in top of cap. 2) Attach nozzle and cut a small portion

of tip at a 45 angle to test for proper bead. Repeat if necessary. 3) After application, allow 5 minutes

for silicone to "skin", then assemble parts. 4) After use, remove nozzle and replace cap to provide an

airtight seal. 5) Excess cured sealant may be trimmed with a razor blade.



PRODUCT LIMITATIONS: Not recommended for cylinder head gasketing or uses involving

continuous contact with gasoline or other solvents.



PRECAUTIONS: Contains Siloxanes and Silicones (CAS# 63148-62-9). Uncured sealant irritates

eyes and skin. Harmful if swallowed. FIRST AID: In case of eye contact, flush with water for at least

15 minutes while lifting eyelids and get prompt medical attention. For skin contact, wash with soap

and water. If irritation persist, get prompt medical attention. In case of ingestion, do not induce

vomiting. For Inhalation, move to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult, get prompt medical

attention.



STORAGE & HANDLING: Store in a cool place below 1200F. away from acids, ignition sources and

oxidizing agents. Wearing contact lenses while working with this product is inadvisable. Keep away

from children.



DISPOSAL: Dispose of container, residue, and excess product in accordance with all federal, state,

and local laws and regulations.



CONTAINER DESCRIPTION: Available in 3 oz tube packed in cardboard display.
