FUNCTION AND APPLICATION: Removes road tar and bug debris/residue, which are not removed with
normal washing techniques. Solder Seal Gunk 庐 Tar-n-Bug Remover is an effective cleaner on tar, bugs,
tree sap, grease and oil.
OUTSTANDING PROPERTIES: Dissolves road tar, loosens bug deposits, and removes tree sap and other
stains from auto finishes and metal surfaces while leaving a glossy protective barrier. Formulated to
evaporate slowly and not run off vertical surfaces.
USE DIRECTIONS: Caution: Do not use on hot painted surfaces while exposed to direct sunlight. Pre-test for
paint attack on small obscure area on new cars and freshly painted surfaces. Avoid prolonged contact with
rubber, plastic or asphalt. For tar: Coat dry surface to be cleaned. Wait one minute or more, then wipe away
tar with rag soaked in remover. Repeat if necessary. For bugs: Same as for tar except use a rag soaked in
water and rinse with water after bug residue is loosened.
PRODUCT LIMITATIONS: Carefully pretest painted and plastic surfaces before use.
PRECAUTIONS: Contains (CAS#) Aliphatic Petroleum distillate (8008-20-6), natural methyl esters (67762-
38-3), aqua (7732-18-5), petroleum oil (64742-52-5), surfactant blend (proprietary), and
polydimethylsiloxane (63148-62-9). Danger: Combustible. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Eye and skin
irritant. FIRST AID: If inhaled, move to fresh air immediately. If breathing becomes difficult, get prompt
medical attention. If swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Call Poison Control Center, Physician, or
Hospital Emergency Room Immediately. In case of eye contact, flush thoroughly with water for 15 minutes
while lifting eyelids and get prompt medical attention. For skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
Remove contaminated clothing and launder before re-use. If irritation persists, get prompt medical attention.
STORAGE & HANDLING: Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Do not expose to heat, sparks, open
flames or temperatures above 120 F. Use with adequate ventilation. Wearing contact lenses while working
with this product is inadvisable. Keep away from children and animals.
DISPOSAL: Dispose of container, residue, and excess product in accordance with all federal, state, and
local laws and regulations.
