3. Hazards Identification - Continued
Ingestion Hazards
Harmful if swallowed.
Inhalation Hazards
Causes respiratory tract irritation. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged exposure to some of the
chemicals in this product with permanent brain, liver, kidney, and Central Nervous System damage. Headaches
and dizziness may result. Can also cause nausea and vomiting in high concentrations.
Conditions Aggravated By Exposure
Health studies have shown that many petroleum hydrocarbons pose potential human health risks which may vary
from person to person. Exposure should be minimize. Contains diisocyanates. Preclude from exposure those
individuals having a history of respiratory ailments.

4. First Aid Measures
Eye
In case of contact, hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with plenty of tepid water for at least 15 minutes.
Get medical attention immediately if irritation develops and persists.
Skin
In case of contact, immediately flush skin with soap, skin cream, and plenty of tepid water for at least 15 minutes.

Ingestion
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Seek medical attention
immediately.
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

5. Fire Fighting Measures
Flash Point: > 79 掳F > 26 掳C
Flash Point Method: (TCC) based upon xylene
Autoignition Point: > 900 掳F > 500 掳C
Lower Explosive Limit: 1.9% (based on xylene)
Upper Explosive Limit: 12.3% (based on xylene)
Fire And Explosion Hazards
Minimize breathing gases, vapor, fumes, and decomposition products. Static electricity may accumulate and
ignite vapors. Follow safe grounding and bonding practice.
Extinguishing Media
In case of fire, use water spray (fog) foam, dry chemical, or CO2.
Fire Fighting Instructions
In the event of a fire, firefighters should wear full protective clothing and NIOSH-approved self-contained
breathing apparatus with a full facepiece operated in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode.
Water may be unsuitable as an extinguishing media but helpful in keeping adjacent containers cool.

6. Accidental Release Measures
Shut off and eliminate all ignition sources. Recover free product, add sand, earth, or other suitable absorbent to spill
area. Minimize breathing vapors. Keep out of sewers and water courses by diking or impounding. Wash contaminated

electricity). Prevent vapor build-up by providing adequate ventilation during and after use. Residual vapors might
explode on ignition. Do not cut, drill, or weld on or near this container.
Storage Precautions
Keep product containers cool, dry and away from sources of ignition. Keep product containers closed when not in
use. If containers have bulged after shelf life has expired, discard containers and contents without opening.
Work/Hygienic Practices
Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

8. Exposure Controls/Personal Protection
Engineering Controls
Use of a system of local and/or general exhaust is recommended to keep employee below applicable exposure
limits. Refer to the current edition of "Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice" published by
the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists for information on the design, installation, use,
and maintenance of exhaust systems.
