SECTION 07: PREVENTATIVE MEASURES

GLOVES/ TYPE...............Wear impervious gloves (in neoprene or rubber).
RESPIRATORY/TYPE...........Use NIOSH approved respirator for organic vapours. Avoid prolonged or
repeated breathing of vapour or mists. If exposure may or does exceed
occupational exposure limits, use a NIOSH approved respirator to prevent
overexposure.
EYE/TYPE...................Wear an eye protection apparatus. Safety glasses with side-shields.
Chemical goggles
FOOTWEAR/TYPE..............Standard work shoes.
CLOTHING/TYPE..............Standard work clothes.
VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS.........Ventilate adequately. Consult local authorities for acceptable exposure
limits. Good industrial practice dictates that indoor work areas be
isolated and provided with adequate local exhaust ventilation. Wear an
appropriate, properly fitted respirator when contaminant levels exceed the
recommended exposure limits.
LEAK/SPILL.......................Evacuate all non-essential personnel. Ventilate area. Wear appropriate
protective equipment during cleanup. Scrape or shovel into containers. Put
in appropriate labelled container for disposal.
WASTE DISPOSAL...................In accordance with municipal, provincial and federal regulations.
HANDLING PROCEDURES AND..........Avoid breathing vapours. Avoid all skin contact and ventilate adequately,
EQUIPMENT otherwise wear an appropriate breathing apparatus. Acetic acid vapours are
formed during curing process of this product. Ensure adequate ventilation
at workplace. Wear chemical splash goggles, gloves, and protective
clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.
STORAGE NEEDS....................KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. Keep container closed and store away from water
or moisture. Store in a dry place. Store under 30 deg C. Store product at
between 5 and 25 degree celcius sheltered from air moisture. Store in
tightly sealed container and protect from moisture and foreign materials.
SPECIAL SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS....Not regulated

SECTION 08: FIRST AID MEASURES

EYE CONTACT......................Immediately flush with water for a minimum of 15 minutes holding lids
apart to ensure flushing of entire surface. Washing within 1 minute is
essential to achieve maximum effectiveness. Cured adhesive will not bond
well to surface of eye, but corneal damage from abrasion may result. Do
not wear contact lenses when working with this material. Seek medical
attention immediately.
INGESTION........................Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting should occur spontaneously, keep
airway clear. Get medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. Get immediate medical attention. If swallowed, DO NOT
induce vomiting. Keep at rest. Get prompt medical attention.
INHALATION.......................Remove to fresh air. If symptoms develop, seek medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT.....................Do not remove material from skin. Obtain medical assistance for removal.
No attempt should be made to remove material from skin or to remove
contaminated clothing, as the bonded skin can be easily torn. Wash with
large volumes of soap and water while flexing bonded skin parts. This
procedure will slowly release bonded areas. DO NOT mechanically remove
cured adhesive or attempt to pull skin apart. Remove contaminated
clothing. Wash affected area with water and soap. Seek medical attention
if irritation occurs or persists.
