SKIN CONTACT...............Severe irritant. May cause dermatitis and allergic responses.
SKIN ABSORPTION............Strong skin sensitizer.
EYE CONTACT................Moderate irritant. May cause tearing, reddening of the eyes and reversible
corneal injury.
INHALATION.................Causes irritation of respiratory tract. Severe exposure can also cause
wheezing, chest pain, and delayed pulmonary edema.
INHALATION, ACUTE :..............Respiratory irritant and sensitizer. Lung irritation and chest pain.
Material aspirated into lungs may cause chemical pneumonitis.
INGESTION..................May cause irritation of mouth, throat, and stomach.
EFFECTS OF ACUTE EXPOSURE........Skin, eye, and respiratory tract irritation.
EFFECTS OF CHRONIC EXPOSURE......May aggravate existing eye, skin, and lung conditions. This product
contains isocyanate. Isocyanates have been shown to cause sensitization in
individuals overexpose d to products containing such material. Deliberate
and repeated inhalation of concentrated solvent vapors may cause permanent
neurological damage. Chronic overexposure effects are targeted at the
kidneys and liver.

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

RESPIRATORY/TYPE...........If the TLV is exceeded, or if used in a poorly ventilated space or area
with limited ventilation, use an approved respirator in accordance with
applicable safety regulations. Use approved respirator for dusts and mists
when sanding, grinding or machining cured compound.
EYE/TYPE...................Wear chemical safety goggles.
FOOTWEAR/TYPE..............Standard work shoes.
CLOTHING/TYPE..............Clothing that covers any exposed area of arms, legs or torso.
OTHER/TYPE.................Eye bath and safety shower.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS.............Local exhaust as needed to control vapor/dust levels to below recommended
limits.
LEAK/SPILL.......................Ventilate. Eliminate all sources of ignition. Wear adequate protective
clothing and equipment. Contain the spill. Absorb with inert material.
Scrape or shovel into containers. Cover loosely and remove to appropriate
well ventilated area until disposal. Wash spill area with soap and water.
Prevent washings from entering waterways.
WASTE DISPOSAL...................In accordance with municipal, provincial and federal regulations. Since
emptied container retains product residues all labelled hazard precautions
must be observed.
HANDLING PROCEDURES AND..........For professional use only. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with
EQUIPMENT eyes, skin, and clothing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Avoid breathing vapours. Use with adequate ventilation and employ
respiratory protection where spray or mist may be generated. Tightly
reseal all partially used containers. Avoid smoking, drinking or eating in
use. Wash thoroughly after handling.
STORAGE NEEDS....................Protect containers from physical damage to avoid leaks and spills. Keep
container closed when not in use. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN.

SECTION 08: FIRST AID MEASURES

SKIN CONTACT.....................Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with water and soap. Seek
medical attention if irritation occurs or persists.
EYE CONTACT......................Immediately flush with water for a minimum of 15 minutes holding lids
apart to ensure flushing of entire surface. Washing within 1 minute is
essential to achieve maximum effectiveness. Obtain immediate medical
attention.
INHALATION.......................Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing qualified personnel should
administer artificial respiration. Get medical attention.
INGESTION........................Do not induce vomiting. Should vomiting occur, be sure to keep victim's
head below hips to avoid aspiration of vomitus into the lungs. Obtain
immediate medical attention.
