SECTION 6 - TOXICOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: May cause sensitization.
INGESTION: Part A, contains material that may be considered slightly toxic or non-toxic. Part B, ingestion may cause
gastrointestinal irritation or ulceration. Corrosive to mucous membranes.
INHALATION: Breathing vapors may cause dizziness, nausea, or headaches.
SKIN CONTACT AND ABSORPTION: Part A, a single prolonged exposure is not likely to cause significant skin irritation.
Repeated exposure may cause skin irritation and allergic reaction. Part B, corrosive material. Short single contact may
cause skin irritation and burns.
EYE CONTACT: Part A, may cause eye irritation. Part B, may cause pain. May cause severe irritation with corneal injury
which may result in permanent impairment of vision.
OTHER CHRONIC EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Repeated excessive exposure may cause severe dermatitis, as
well as liver, kidney, and bladder damage.

SECTION 7 - FIRST AID MEASURES
EMERGENCY FIRST AID MEASURES
EYE CONTACT: Immediate and continuous irrigation with water for at least 15 minutes holding eyelids open. Prompt
medical consultation is essential for contact with Part B.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water immediately. Part B, may cause burn in case of prolonged contact; call a
physician if irritation persists. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
INGESTION: Give large quantities of water or milk. Call a physician.
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Give oxygen if breathing is difficult. Consult a physician.
SECTION 8 - PREVENTIVE MEASURES
RESPIRATORY: Use a government or a NIOSH approved respirator, if exceeding occupational exposure limits or in
closed, confined areas. No respiratory protective equipment is required for outdoor applications under normal operating
conditions.
EYE: Use chemical safety goggles or face shield.
SKIN PROTECTION: Use protective clothing impervious to this material. Selection of specific items such as gloves,
boots, apron, of full-body suit will depend on operation. Impervious, neoprene gloves are recommended.

VENTILATION: Proper ventilation is necessary. Use local and mechanical exhaust systems leading to open fresh air.
LEAK AND SPILL PROCEDURES: Scrape up into container; soak up with inert absorbent. Wear adequate protective
clothing and safety equipment.
WASTE DISPOSAL: Dispose of or incinerate in accordance with local, provincial and federal regulations. Discarded
product is a hazardous waste.
HANDLING PROCEDURES AND EQUIPMENT: Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame. Keep containers closed
until ready for use. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing fumes.
STORAGE REQUIREMENTS: Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.
