SECTION 4 - TOXICOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
NATURE OF HAZARD
INHALATION: No hazard except if product is spray applied and mist is inhaled. Mildly irritating to nose and throat.
EYE CONTACT: May be irritating to the eyes. No permanent damage will result from exposure.
SKIN CONTACT: May be irritating to the skin.
INGESTION: Will be irritating to throat and stomach. Effects of ingestion are unknown.
CHRONIC: No known chronic hazard.

SECTION 5 - FIRST AID MEASURES
INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. If irritation persists see physician.
EYE CONTACT: Flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes, seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Hold eyes open.
SKIN CONTACT: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Use mild soap if available. If irritation persists see physician.
INGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING ! Give victim large quantities of water or milk if available. Seek
immediate medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
SECTION 6 - PREVENTIVE MEASURES
PERSONAL PROTECTION: Where skin and/or eye contact is likely to occur workmen should wear safety glasses with
side shield, PVC or neoprene full length gloves and full work coveralls as the minimum protection. A portable eyewash
station should be made available to workmen. If mist is generated during application an appropriate full face respiratory
should be worn.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS: None required unless extremely poor ventilation is experienced in the work area and
mist is generated during application. In the above instance power ventilation should be used.
HANDLING, STORAGE AND SHIPPING: Keep containers closed when not in use. Handle and open containers with
care. DO NOT ALLOW PRODUCT TO FREEZE. The product is heavy, handle accordingly. Do not store in metal
containers.
SPILL CONTROL AND DISPOSAL: For small spills mop up and recover materials. Flush remaining material with
large quantities before it dries and hardens. Do not flush large quantities of material into watercourses or sewers.
ENVIRONMENTAL: Concentrated product is slightly alkaline and is a hazard to aquatic life. Thoroughly dilute with
water before flushing into sewer. Large spills may require neutralization with acid before flushing.

GENERAL HAZARDS: Not hazardous, however if product is stored in an aluminium, tin, lead, or zinc container

SECTION 8 - REACTIVITY DATA
GENERAL HAZARDS: This product is stable and hazardous polymerization will not occur under normal conditions.
INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS AND CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Avoid contamination with all acids. Do Not
Store In Metal Containers (See Section 7).
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION: None.
