HEALTH EFFECTS
Acute
Swallowed: Harmful if swallowed
Eye: May irritate the eyes.
Skin: May cause allergic reaction in individuals with sensitivity to beta
lactam antibiotics such as penicillin - involves skin rash.
Inhaled: May cause allergic reaction in individuals with sensitivity to beta
lactam antibiotics such as penicillin - involves fever, bronchospasm,
and swelling of face and tongue.
Chronic
Repeated exposure may lead to hypersensitivity.
If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre,

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air and Seek medical advice. Show this MSDS to a
medical practitioner.
Eye: Rinse well with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice.
Show this MSDS to a medical practitioner.
Skin: Remove all contaminated clothing. Wash skin well with soap and
water.

Storage: Store refrigerated (2 - 8OC). Protect from light. Store away from
foodstuffs. Keep out of reach of children.
Transport: Accent is not classified as a Dangerous Good for the purpose of road
or rail transport.
Spills: Due to the packaging nature of the product, large spills are unlikely to
occur. Sweep up powder into plastic bag and seal.
Disposal: Refer to the relevant Land Waste Management Authority.
