HEALTH EFFECTS

ACUTE EFFECTS -
SWALLOWED: Non toxic. Causes gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
EYE: Causes severe eye irritation and possible eye burns.
SKIN: May cause irritation.
INHALED: May cause irritation of respiratory tract.
CHRONIC EFFECTS: No known effects.
FIRST AID
SWALLOWED: If conscious, rinse out mouth with water and give water to drink. Do not induce
vomiting. Seek medical advice.
EYE: Immediately irrigate with copious quantities of water for at least 15 minutes. Eyelids to be held
open. Seek medical advice.
SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing, Iaunder clothes before
reuse. If irritation persists seek medical advice.
INHALED: Remove from exposure to fresh air. If breathing has stopped, apply artificial respiration. If
breathing is difficult have qualified person administer oxygen. Seek medical advice.
