Effects of Over Expo sure:
Inhalation: Ma y cau se cough ing, sn eezin g, difficulty b reathing and irritation o f the m uco us m em bran e of the respiratory tract.
Dermal: Ma y cau se irritation , itching , inflam ma tion and d erm itits.
Eye: Ma y cau se bu rning sen sation, irritation, re dne ss and watering of the eyes if com es in co ntact.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Respiratory disorders.

Other: Copper Compounds: As the sublimed oxide, copper may be responsible for one form of metal fume fever. Inhalation of
cop per d ust has caused, in anim als, hem olysis o f the red blo od cells, dep osition of he mo fuscin in the liv er and pancreas, and inju ry to
the lung cells; injection of the dust has caused cirrhosis in the liver & pancreas, a condition resembling hemochromatosis, or brionzed
diabetes. However, considerable trial exposure to copper compounds has not resulted in such disease.
EMERG ENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air, give oxygen if breathing is difficult and seek medical attention.
INGESTION: Give 1-2 cups of milk or water and induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.
SK IN: Brush off skin, wash area with soap and water and seek medical attention.
EYE: Flush eyes with lukewarm water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.

Isolate the are a where the spill occu rred and insure pro per v entilation is available. Vacuum up th e spill using a high efficien cy unit
and place in a co ntainer for proper d isposal. Tak e care not to raise dust.
Waste Disposal Method: In accord ance w ith Loca l, State and Federal W aste Dispo sal Regu lations.
VIII SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
Respiratory Protection (Specify Type): Wear NIO SH-app roved du st-mist-fume cartridge respirator.
Ventilation: Use local exhaust to maintain exposure below TLV level for Cu. Special: handle in dry, controlled atmosphere.
General exhaust is recommended.
Protective Gloves: Neoprene Eye Protection: Safety Glasses
Other Protective Equipment: Wear protective clothing to p revent contam ination of sk in and c lothes.
