Eye Protection: Safety glasses with side shields. Chemical workers D ust-Proof Gog gles (under dusting cond itions).
Other Protective Equipment: Protective gear suitable to prevent contamination.
IX SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Precautions to Be Taken in Handling and Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in tightly closed containers. Air and mo isture
sensitive. Store away from oxidizers and other materials listed under incompatibility. STORE UNDER ARGO N OR OTHER INERT
EN VIR ON MEN T. A void breathing dusts. A void direct or prolon ged contact with skin and eyes. Do not ru b eyes with soiled hands.
Other Precautions: Avoid creating du sts as this product, like mo st ma terials in p ow der fo rm, is capable of creating a dust explo sion.
Use non-sparking tools and grounded/bonded equipment and containers when transferring. Foils are subject to oxidation at elevated
temp eratures an d will deteriora te in the presen ce of m oisture. W ill 'fingerprint' easily. Pinholes m ay occ ur in thin foils as metal ages.
Wo rk Practices: Do not sto re, use, and/or co nsume foods, be verages, tobacco products, or cosm etics in areas w here this m aterial is
stored. Wash hands and face carefully before eating, drinking, using tobacco, applying cosmetics, or using the toilet. Wash exposed
skin p rom ptly to rem ove accid entally splash es of contact with this m aterial. M aintain a sink, safety show er and eyewash fo untain in
the work area. Have oxygen readily available.
