VIII SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION

Respiratory Protection (Specify Type): Use a NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator if airborne dust concentrations exceed the
app ropriate PE L or TL V. A ll appropriate req uirem ents set forth in 29 C FR 191 0.13 4 sho uld b e m et.

Ventilation: Use local exhaust ventilation which is adequate to limit personal exposure to levels which do not exceed the PEL or
TLV. If such equipment is not available, use respirators as specified above. A minimum velocity of 100 CFM is recommended.

Protective gloves: Gloves are recommended if prolonged or repeated contact is likely.
Eye Protection: Safety glasses or goggles are recommended.
Other Protective Equipment: Norm al laboratory gear.

IX SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Precautions to Be Taken in Handling and Storage: Maintain goo d housekeeping procedures to p revent accum ulation of d ust. Use
clean-up methods which minimize dust generation such as vacuuming or wet clean-up. If airborne dust is generated, use an
appropriate NIO SH app roved respirator.

Storage Recommendations: Store in a coo l, dry place. Store awa y from conce ntrated m ineral acids. Store away from oxidizers.

Other Precautions: Wash thoroughly after handling and before eating or smoking and at the end of the work shift. Do not shake
clothing or other items to remove dust. Use a vacuum. Avoid dust inhalation and direct skin contact. Do not ingest. Material is not
regulated under OSHA and has no transportation regulations. This material appears on the TSCA chemical substances inventory and
is available for comm ercial use.

The abo ve inform ation is believ ed to be co rrect, but do es no t purp ort to b e all inclu sive an d sha ll be used only as a gu ide.
