HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION CHIP
Toxic for Reproduction, Category 3. Irritant.
HCS
Teratogen. Irritant.

FIRST-AID MEASURES EYES: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
SKIN: Flush with water, then wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash
before reuse. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
INHALATION: Remove the victim from exposure and move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If
not breathing, give artificial respiration. Keep victim quiet and warm. Seek immediate medical attention.
INGESTION: Drink water and seek immediate medical attention. Avoid alcoholic beverages. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

FIRE-FIGHTING INFORMATION Use media suitable to extinguish the supporting or surrounding fire. Wear NIOSH (or equivalent) approved self
contained breathing apparatus. For small fires only: use carbon dioxide, dry powder or foam. Dust explosion
hazard. Spontaneous ignition may occur when exposed to air and in contact with other materials such as cloth,
paper, wood and/or insulation. Emits toxic fumes under fire conditions.
Flash Point = No data available.

ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing including lab coat, safety goggles, gloves and NIOSH-
approved respirator. Collect in a manner that does not create dust and place in a suitable waste container. Avoid
contact of material with skin or eyes. Use adequate ventilation.

HANDLING AND STORAGE Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing including lab coat, safety goggles, gloves and NIOSH-
approved respirator. Avoid contact of material with skin or eyes. Use adequate ventilation. Protect from light. Store
at +4掳C away from incompatible materials.

PERSONAL PROTECTION Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing including lab coat, safety goggles, gloves and NIOSH-
approved respirator. A qualified industrial hygienist should evaluate the need for respiratory protection. Use
respiratory protection approved by NIOSH (or equivalent) and appropriate to the hazard. Avoid contact of material
with skin or eyes. Mechanical ventilation or local exhaust as needed to control exposure to dust, vapors or mists.
Access to a safety shower and eye-wash.

STABILITY AND REACTIVITY Product is stable. Avoid excessive heat and light. Protect from light. Dust explosion hazard. Spontaneous ignition
may occur when exposed to air and in contact with other materials such as cloth, paper, wood and/or insulation.
Hazardous decomposition products may include carbon oxides. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, copper,
copper alloys, iron, iron salts, peroxides, strong inorganic acids and strong bases. Hazardous polymerization will
not occur.

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE:
EYES: Contact may cause irritation.
SKIN: Contact may cause irritation and/or allergic reaction. Skin reactions such as cracks in lips and around
mouth, dry skin, skin peeling, itching and redness may occur.
INHALATION: May cause irritation to mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Signs and symptoms
may include difficulty breathing, coughing, wheezing, inflamation and respiratory arrest.
INGESTION: Chronic ingestion or excessive dosage may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation,
cramps and loss of appetite. Acute and/or chronic toxicity may cause headache, irritability, tiredness,
stupor, nausea, vomiting, increase in intracranial pressure, generalized peeling of the skin after 24 hours, loss
of appetite, chapped lips, dry and itching skin, erythematous dermatitis, desquamation, disturbed hair growth,
loss of hair and bone decalcification.
TARGET ORGAN(S): Skin, Liver, Respiratory Tract, Gastrointestinal System, Central Nervous System and Skeletal
System.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Teratogenic and embryotoxic. Women of childbearing potential must avoid any and all exposure. May cause central
nervous system effects. Signs and symptoms may include headache, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue and lack of
muscle coordination. May cause hepatic (liver) system effects. Signs and symptoms may include elevation of liver
enzyme levels and jaundice (yellowing of the eyes and skin). May cause allergic respiratory reactions. May cause
ulcers. May cause skeletal abnormalities.
