                                            Description:
ChlorCid 庐 ChlorCid 庐 is an aqueous solution not exceeding 3.0%
sodium hypochlorite with surfectants. When control of
& application is critical, a more viscous ChlorCid V is available
at the same concentration.
ChlorCid庐 V Indications:
Use ChlorCid and ChlorCid V as needed for irrigating,
cleaning, and disinfecting root canal preparations.
Sodium Hypochlorite
Solution
Pre-Treatment Procedure:
1. Remove cap from the 30ml IndiSpense庐 syringe container.
2. Attach a prelabeled unit dose syringe to the end of the IndiSpense syringe by turning the luer
lock of the unit dose syringe snugly onto the male thread of the IndiSpense, as shown in Fig. 1.
3. With the palm grasp (Fig. 2), the plunger of the IndiSpense syringe is depressed, filling unit dose
syringe to the desired level. To prevent unwanted discharge, the unit dose syringe is stabilized
at the plunger with the nondominant hand. Slightly pull out on plunger of unit dose syringe to
help loading. Do not express contents of unit dose syringe
back into IndiSpense syringe. To prevent cross-contamination,
a used syringe should not be reattached to the IndiSpense
syringe. Dispense additional ChlorCid/ChlorCid V into a dappen
dish, remove the tip and load the syringe by placing the end
into solution while pulling back on plunger. Re-attach tip and
dispense as needed.
4. Firmly twist a disposable NaviTip庐 or Endo-Eze庐 Irrigator
tip onto unit dose syringe.
5. For optimum control, hold syringe with plunger in palm
of hand rather than in conventional manner with thumb Figs. 1&2 A 5ml (shown here) or a
on plunger. 1.2ml unit dose syringe is twisted firmly
onto the IndiSpense syringe. While
supporting plunger of unit dose syringe
with the nondominant hand, depress
plunger of the IndiSpense and fill unit
dose syringe to desired level.
Procedure:
1. After delivering File-Eze庐 EDTA chelating and filing lubricant
into canal opening for first 2 or 3 files only, irrigate the
chamber with ChlorCid/ChlorCid V (Fig. 3).
Reapply ChlorCid/ChlorCid V and liquid EDTA as needed
to effectively clean and lubricate canals after each file during
instrumentation.
2. Repeat as necessary: Effervescence stops when all traces
of File-Eze are completely rinsed out of canal.
Note: Chlorcid/Chlorcid V should be thoroughly rinsed from
canal prior to obturation.
3. Just prior to drying preparation for obturation, rinse canal Fig. 3 After filing, dispense
with EDTA solution or bacteria free water or anesthetic solution. ChlorCid/ ChlorCid V sodium

Precautions: tiny 27-gauge Endo-Eze Irrigator tip.
1. Do not allow volumes of material to be ingested.
For root canal and preparation cleaning, a rubber dam should be placed (we recommend
DermaDam庐). Collect extraneous material with proper vacuuming techniques.
2. Prevent placing on or near eyes. Rinse with water should this occur.
3. Do not express ChlorCid/ChlorCid V onto colored fabrics as it will bleach them.
Do not express and allow to remain on any colored surface such as counter tops. If contact
occurs, rinse off immediately.
4. Do not use on patients with known sensitivities to sodium hypochlorite.
5. Remember to rinse ChlorCid V, per procedure step 3, prior to drying and obturation.
6. Do not extend EndoEze tips or NaviTips past apex or express ChlorCid/ChlorCid V past apex.
Pull back slightly with NaviTip to ensure space between tip and canal wall before delivering.
