Description
FEAST WATSON Floorclear Gloss is a clear, oil based polyurethane finish formulated using lower odour solvents. It has been
developed for use on interior timber and cork floors, parquetry and other interior timbers. Floorclear will produce a tough, abrasion
resistant coating.

Application Guide
Surface Preparation
All timber surfaces should be thoroughly clean, dry and free from wax, oil, grease and other contaminants. Wash with mineral
turpentine if needed to remove wax and grease, and allow to dry.
Fill nail holes with FEAST WATSON Timber Fill putty - do not use a linseed oil putty. Sand with a machine sander, using papers
suitable to the surface. Remove dust by sweeping and vacuuming.
Application Procedure and Equipment
Stir contents thoroughly before and during application, with a broad flat stirrer.
Apply FEAST WATSON Floorclear Gloss with a brush, short nap roller, or FEAST WATSON Applicator and Lambswool Sock,
ensuring the coating is evenly distributed across the surface. Allow to thoroughly dry, then lightly sand with fine sandpaper to
remove any raised grain, and vacuum to remove dust. Apply second coat as outlined above.
A third coat may be required on porous timbers or cork to achieve desired gloss level.
Allow 24 hours before light foot traffic, and 72 hours before normal use.

Precautions and Limitations
Do not apply product if temperature is below 10C or is likely to fall below 10C during the drying period.
Moisture content of timber should be close to equilibrium moisture content, usually 10-15%, but not exceeding 15%, for satisfactory
application.
