will be a release of oxides of carbon, oxides of nitrogen and noxious smoke.
PRECAUTIONS FOR FIRE FIGHTERS AND SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Self-contained
breathing apparatus (SCBA) required for fire-fighting personnel. If possible to do so safely, shut off fuel to fire. Avoid
spreading burning liquid with water used for cooling fire exposed containers when using water spray, boil-over may
occur when the product temperature reaches the boiling point of water, thereby resulting in re-ignition.

FLAMMABILITY
This product is a COMBUSTIBLE (C1) LIQUID and must be stored, handled and used according to the requirements
of AS 1940 - The Storage and Handling of Flammable and Combustible Liquids. Runoff may pollute waterways, drains
or sewers.

Flash Point: 93.3掳C
Flammability Limits: LEL: 1 % UEL: 5 %

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Emergency Procedures:
Corrosive and combustible liquid. Avoid all sources of ignition. Keep unnecessary people away; Isolate hazard area and
deny entry. Ventilate area. Wear suitable protective equipment as outlined under personal protection in this MSDS.

Methods and Materials for Containment and Clean Up Procedures:
Throw diatomaceous earth onto spill. DO NOT use sawdust. ALLOW TO ABSORB. Use non-sparking tools or
HEPA vacuum system to pick up. Place into labelled drum for later disposal. If risk of fire, blanket the spill with foam
or use water fog to disperse vapour clouds. Consult an expert regarding disposal of this product.

skin. Provide adequate ventilation.

Conditions for Safe Storage:
Keep containers tightly closed, when not using the product. Store in original packages as approved by manufacturer.
Store in an area that is dry and well-ventilation away from ignition sources. Store at ambient (normal temperatures).
Store away from strong acids and oxidizing agents. For further information please refer to the Engineering Controls of
this MSDS.

This product is a COMBUSTIBLE (C1) LIQUID and must be stored, handled and used according to the requirements
of AS 1940 - The Storage and Handling of Flammable and Combustible Liquids.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Exposure Standards

No exposure standards are available for this product, however, the following exposure standards have been assigned by
[ASCC/NOHSC] to the following components of the product:

DIETHYLENETRIAMINE
[ASCC/NOHSC]
[TWA] 1 ppm 4.2 mg/m3

Notices: Sk

References: H

Sk Notation:
The main route of most hazardous substances into the body is via inhalation, however, certain substances can readily
penetrate the skin, with resultant toxic effects. The notice 'Sk' indicates that absorption can occur through the skin.

Engineering Controls
Toxic material. Single significant exposure may cause serious injury or death. Maintain adequate ventilation at all
times.

Personal Protection Equipment
GLOVES: Nitrile or neoprene.
EYES: Chemical goggles or spectacles with side shields to protect eyes.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Avoid breathing of vapours. Select and use respirators in accordance with AS/NZS
1715/1716. When vapours approach the exposure standards then the use of a half-face respirator fitted with an organic
vapour cartridge is recommended. When vapours exceed the exposure standards, the use of an positive pressure demand
self-contained or airline breathing apparatus supplied air respirator complying with the requirements of AS/NZS 1715 is
recommended. Filter capacity and respirator type depends on exposure levels. If entering spaces where the airborne
concentration of a contaminant is unknown then the use of a Self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with positive
pressure air supply complying with AS/NZS 1715 / 1716, or any other acceptable International Standard is
recommended.
