This product is considered to be hazardous by all routes of exposure. European Union information suggests that this
product will be corrosive to eyes, skin and if swallowed. It is also likely to cause sensitisation by skin contact.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Swallowed:
If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. If victim is conscious give water to drink. Immediately transport to hospital or
doctor.

Eye:
If material is splashed into eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, ensuring eye lids are held open.
Urgently transport to hospital or doctor.

Skin:
If material is splashed onto the skin, remove any contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly with water and soap.
If irritation persists transport to hospital or doctor.

Inhaled:
Move victim to fresh air. Apply resuscitation if victim is not breathing.

First Aid Facilities:
Eye wash fountain, safety shower and normal wash room facilities.

Advice to Doctor:
Treat symptomatically.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Fire/Explosion Hazard
CAUTION: Use of water spray when fighting fire may be inefficient.
SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use dry chemical, carbon dioxide, foam or water fog.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: If tanks, drums or containers of this material are heated, they may
rupture and project corrosive liquids over a wide area.
HAZARDS FROM COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: Under fire conditions, toxic and corrosive fumes are emitted. On
combustion or on thermal decomposition (pyrolysis), there will be a release of oxides of carbon and oxides of nitrogen.
PRECAUTIONS FOR FIRE FIGHTERS AND SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Self-contained
breathing apparatus (SCBA) required for fire -fighting personnel. If possible to do so safely, shut off fuel to fire. Use
water spray to spray to cool fire-exposed surfaces and to protect personnel.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Emergency Procedures:
Combustible liquid. Avoid all sources of ignition. Keep unnecessary people away; Isolate hazard area and deny entry.
Ventilate area. Wear suitable protective equipment as outlined under personal protection in this MSDS.

Methods and Materials for Containment and Clean Up Procedures:
Ventilate area. Flood with water to polymerize cyanoacrylate adhesive and to control product vapors. Soak up with an
inert absorbent or scrape up cured product. Place into suitably labeled drum(s) for later disposal.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Precautions for Safe Handling:
Do not get in eyes. Avoid direct or prolonged contact with skin. Provide adequate ventilation.

Conditions for Safe Storage:
Keep containers tightly closed, when not using the product. Store in original packages as approved* by manufacturer.
Store in an area that is dry and well-ventilation away from ignition sources. Store below 278 C. The floor of the depot
should be impermeable. Store away from strong alkalis, acids and oxidizing agents. For further information please refer
to the Engineering Controls of this MSDS.

M BOND AE-10 is a Combustible (C1) Liquid and must be stored, handled and used according to the requirements of

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Exposure Standards
No exposure have been assigned by the [NOHSC] for this product or any of the ingredients.

Engineering Controls
Corrosive liquid. Maintain adequate ventilation at all times. In most circumstances natural ventilation systems are
adequate.

Personal Protecti on Equipment
GLOVES: Not normally required, however, if product has spilt, or package is broken, then the use of neoprene gloves
is recommended.
EYES: Chemical goggles or spectacles with side shields to protect eyes.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Avoid breathing of vapours. Select and use respirators in accordance with AS/NZS
1715/1716. The use of an acid gas vapour respirator with replaceable filters is recommended. Filter capacity and
respirator type depends on exposure levels and type of contaminant. If entering spaces where the airborne concentration
of a contaminant is unknown then the use of a Self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with positive pressure air
supply complying with AS/NZS 1715 / 1716, or any other acceptable International Standard is recommended.

10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY
CHEMICAL STABILITY:
Stable under normal conditions of use.

CONDITIONS TO AVOID:
Can autoignite in air at approximately 2958 C

HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS:
Emits oxides of carbon and oxides of nitrogen when heated to decomposition.

INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS:
Acid, oxidizing material, halogenated organic compounds, aldehydes, ketones and acrylates. Mixture with these
materials will result in a temperature and/or pressure increase.

HAZARDOUS REACTIONS:
Will not occur.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
ACUTE HEALTH EFFECTS
Swallowed:
Will cause burns to the mouth, mucous membranes, throat, oesophagus and stomach. If sufficient quantities are ingested
(swallowed) death may occur.

Eye:
Will cause burns to the eyes with effects including: Pain, tearing, corneal opacity and if duration of exposure is long
enough, permanent impairment of vision or blindness will occur.

Skin:
Harmful by skin contact. This product will cause sensitisation by skin contact, which may lead to allergic contact
dermatitis. Will cause burns to the skin, with effects including; Redness, blistering, localised pain and severe rashes.

Inhaled:
May cause irritation to the nose, throat and respiratory system. However, this is only anticipated if the product is heated.

Chronic:
Prolonged or repeated skin contact will lead to necrosis (death) of the skin.

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Ecotoxity:
Under current EU legislation this product is considered to be harmful to aquatic organisms and will cause adverse
effects in the aquatic environment.

Persistence / Degradability:
Not readily biodegradable. Will persist in the environment.

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Refer to appropriate authority in your State. Dispose of material through a licensed waste contractor. Advise of
corrosive and combustible nature.
